Friends you don't know

I recently purchased some items from a WAHM on Etsy.  Come to find out that she has to spend a month in Cleveland at the Cleveland Clinic away from her children and family.  I'm amazed at how touched one can be by people we only know virtually.  Her situation tugs at my heart - I don't know the details of her illness, but it is enough that I can feel for her.  She is a mother.  I am a mother.  Leaving my family would be unbearable .  Facing a serious illness and being away from my children.…See More

"I found this nice tutorial.  http://artbeautyandwell-orderedchaos.blogspot.com/2009/09/how-to-make-hand-sewn-buttonholes.html This also seems like one of the best machine tutorials.  Perhaps a sewing class at the farm Nissa in the new…"

"Yes, in person would be best!  I did work and work and work at it after the kids went to bed.  I figured it out, but really don't love how it came out.  Specifically, the instructions had me clip a flap to sew over the back neck…"

Here's a litte bit about me:
Nature loving Christian mama who wishes we lived on a wee farm. I am continuously awed by the beauty of nature and th wonder of God. I believe in homebirthing, elimination communication, breastfeeding, baby wearing and homeschooling. Buying local and making due with less or reusing. I believe in being debt free and only buying what you can afford. I'm a busy mama who is trying to be all things and sometimes feels like too little butter spread over a loaf of bread (of course, fresh baked homemade bread!).
